thank you all so much for your concern regarding my cold. the past two days have been sunny!! yeah. and today i think i have been comfortable/warm more often than cold, which is a first since we have been here. all and all i am feeling very much back to full health.
please be praying for ken on friday. he has his second round of chemo. his first round went well, in that there were no major side effects. but, as to be expected, he felt tired, nauseous, without an appetite for a few days following. the great news is he had a doctor's appointment this last week and the doctor said the chemo is working like "gang-busters" (whatever that means - thankfully i know at least it is very good). the pain medication he is taking has been lowered significantly, to the point that sometime very soon he will only be on Tylenol. amazing! no hair loss yet, but the doctor says that will happen after a few more rounds. when we talked to him the other day he was going to go for a jog after we talked. the man is incredible. and the Lord's healing power and faithfulness continues to be overwhelming. we are thankful gabe and brooke are going to the springs to be with ken, vickie and janae this weekend. wish we could be there too. thank you all so much for your prayers. our family feels very much taken care of and surrounded.
