last night tk returned from soccer with a much larger ankle than when he left. he was hobbling and wincing in pain. not good.
i wasn't there (i was home watching the oscars) but apparently a large goal keeper made swift and unnecessary contact to tim and down, down he went. he has been having trouble with this particular ankle anyways, so the collision only made matters worse.
he iced it and kept it elevated as he slept. now it doesn't look quite so bad. i suppose when one plays with reckless abandon, despite incredible skill, things like this are only natural. but still. tim doesn't like being hurt and i don't blame him.

feeling the same problem here...jeff has a swollen ankle from playing basketball on saturday. he had so much fluid in his ankle that when he iced his ankle the fluid froze. it was the most wild thing i have seen...this week. hope tim gets better soon!
omg - your poor child is going to be soo accident prone. falling down and crashing into people. good thing his/her aunt's a nurse!! :)
