it is friday morning and i am tired. this week has been hard for a number for reasons - the biggest was that i was out of my office for 3 days with training and felt the work piling up as i was away. knowing i will come back to a stack of paperwork can feel overwhelming for me - especially as a person who likes to get her paperwork done asap. today i have to go back to the second part to a two day training - and i think it is safe to say it is the worst training i have ever been to. so i am totally unmotivated to finish getting ready and drag my tired self to another day. seriously - yesterday - the training has 10 people at it- 3 of the 10 people were sound asleep at the same time in the afternoon. now what does that tell you?!
i think i also had a high-emotion-pregnancy week. poor tim got quite a show :) crying, crankiness, wanting lots of hugs, etc... and as always he was gracious with me. needless to say i am looking forward to the weekend. tonight tim and i are going out on a date to a nepali restaurant. we have been passed the place a few times and every time we see a cute nepali man wearing a traditional nepali hat - a good sign that they serve amazing dal bhat. so we are going to check it out. and tomorrow tim has a soccer game, which will make his day.
baby bud/frankie is doing well - dancing more and more dramatically. a pleasant distraction.
i hope all of you have a restful weekend. and may we all remember the Lord's nearness, even in crazy, busy, hard days. and may we remember even in those days His glory can be revealed in us. and He delights in us and in the ways we honor Him.

I still remember what it was like to feel Jacob kicking in my tummy. I loved that feeling and miss it sometimes!
Kristi I am thinking of you! I also loathe training days...thankfully they are behind me from the teaching world but UGH-I am with you all the way! Your faith and great attitude are such an inspiration to me! Loves your way :)
