a job!!!

yes!!! that's right!!! i have one!!! and i am thrilled and overwhelmed with feelings of thanksgiving. after countless applications, the enormous hassle of getting a work permit and just one interview i am now employed. tim actually found the job for me on craigslist (the one and only time he suggested one because it looked just perfect for me). i will be working for the lower mainland purpose society as a therapist. i will primarily work with 10-14 year olds and their families. it is a 28 hour position, which is perfect - as i have been praying for a job that is 30 hours a week. and it pays enough that i won't have to find another job (and neither will tim). i start next tuesday. and will work for 3 days and then take a 3 day weekend to move into our apartment. and not too long after that tim and i will be headed east (to indiana and then colorado) for a week (again, so thankful for understanding in being gone so soon after starting).

i believe this is a gift wrapped in a big red bow from the greatest gift giver of all time. i have been praying for greater trust in the Lord's provision and i even though i don't understand (nor deserve) His favor - He has provided abundantly at every turn for tim and i in planting us perfectly in vancouver. thank you all for praying with us for a job for me. the Lord is so good!
