two years old!

November 6th Clara turned two!  She is such a sweet, strong, funny little girl.  She is often making us laugh with her silly faces and funny sayings.  

 our friend made Clara the puppet Sam is holding.  fun!

 they really do love each other, even though there are plenty of moments in the day where they drive each other crazy.  it feels like a constant balance letting them work it out on their own and teaching them how to be kind to each other.

tim said the other day, "when the baby comes Clara is going to look like a giant."  and i think that is true.  she loves to talk to my growing belly and give the baby hugs and kisses.  she seems much more interested in her younger sibling than i remember samantha being at this age.  Clara loves to help and I am confident she will be a great big sister.

Clara could listen to the song "one thing remains" all day.  she is often humming it or singing it to herself.  she loves the read "the three little pigs" and she is usually playing with her baby dolls and half a dozen special blankets.  she continues to love to read and someone reading to her is the one thing that guarantees her holding still, especially if they are holding her hand or one of her feet.
