37 weeks today and the baby is now considered full term. i don't imagine bud will make his/her appearance for a few more weeks but it is great to know whenever he/she arrives there is an excellent chance all systems will be ready to enter the world. this reality is something tim and i do not take lightly and are thanking the Lord for today.
i continue to feel good. i am thankful for clothes that still fit. sleeping is going well until about 5 am and then i flip back and forth, from one side to the other, until it is time to wake up. and i am making 1 or 2 trips to the bathroom during the night. there are times when i am very aware i am carrying around another person and others when i am more comfortable.
we have an appointment with the midwife today. and not much planned for the weekend. i will probably continue to work on packing my hospital bag - a task which feels bigger than it really is. tim will most likely play pick-up soccer twice. and we will go on a date! and the forecast is for sun!!

Congrats on doing a wonderful job caring Baby Bud & making it to full-term! I know carrying to full term is not totally in your control but it is NO small feat carrying & caring for a baby inside you. Full term! Wow, you are almost there...the dream of holding your new baby. Hang in there T&K!

Did Anne tell you? Next time you guys are in Bellingham for the weekend, you can both play pickup soccer with Isaac and me! We play with a group of all skill levels, so it's super chill and fun. In fact, you guys should just move to Bellingham and then we could hang out all the time...
